From Hustle to Financial Freedom

Before joining Platinum, Tyler Rodgers was juggling long nights behind the bar and outdoor labor during the day—anything to make ends meet for his family. He worked in construction, landscaping, and bartended, but the late hours and inconsistent income weren’t enough to support the life he envisioned for his three kids. Tyler knew something had to change.

In June 2023, he made the leap to a sales career with Platinum. He admits now that he didn’t fully understand the opportunity when he started. “At first, I didn’t even know the right questions to ask,” he says. “But once I really dug in, I realized this was the life I had been looking for.”

It was the team environment that pulled him through the learning curve. “The camaraderie, the support—it set the tone for everything. I wasn’t just out here on my own. I had people who believed in me.”

Tyler quickly found his stride. In just over a year, he was named Platinum’s Sales Representative of the Year for 2024, an achievement that capped off a period of immense personal and professional growth.

This career has changed everything,” Tyler reflects. “There are hard days, for sure. But now I can see a real future. I’m setting my kids up in a way I never thought possible.

His natural ability to connect with people has become one of his greatest strengths. “I love talking to people. I care about their stories, their families, their futures. That’s what makes this work so meaningful to me.”

Today, Tyler is working toward long-term goals that once felt out of reach—buying a lake home, investing in rental properties, and building true financial freedom. But most of all, he’s creating memories with his kids—Taegan, Kasen, and Renlee—and enjoying more of life with his biggest supporter, his mom, Cindy.
